The design intends to be collaboration between the traditional and modern. It is conceptualized using traditional component of streets and courtyards. Evolving a design that uses topography, build around the existing trees, uses the climate to its advantage and in all, fulfills the functional need of the building. It attempts to create a harmony between the nature and built environment work. There are mainly two parts to the brief, the public spaces, and private spaces. The public spaces can be further divided into three components, one the administrative block, two the research block along the archives, publication, and library and third the convention center.
